Even on the chilliest days of the winter season, we’ll learn how to connect with nature in a warm, cozy and calm setting – exploring different themes using the Gardens as inspiration.
Whether you are looking to reconnect to nature, expand your creativity or simply enjoy some mindful time, this class is for you! No art or writing experience necessary. No pressure for perfection. Just bring your curiosity and willingness to explore!

Journaling in the Garden

Explore the beauty of the Van Vleck Gardens this spring through reflective writing and creative mark-making. This mindfulness-based class/series invites you to slow down, observe the natural world and turn your blank pages into a wonderland of personal observations. Each class takes place in a different area of the Gardens (weather permitting), offering new inspiration for discovery.
Deepen your connection with nature and yourself in a no-pressure environment. No art or writing experience necessary – just an openness to explore, reflect and create.
